Daring Robbery in Pattaya: Safe with 2 Million Baht Stolen

A brazen robbery occurred in Pattaya, victimizing a British citizen and his Thai girlfriend. According to police, the incident took place on the evening of February 26, 2026. Three hooded robbers, armed with knives, broke into the couple's townhouse. Threatening them with weapons, they forced the residents to hand over two smartphones, after which they tied them up. The perpetrators then went upstairs to the second floor, where they found and stole a home safe. The safe contained over 2 million baht in cash. After committing the crime, the robbers fled in a black pickup truck. They broke through the barrier at the exit of the guarded residential complex. An investigation began immediately. Investigative teams and tourist police officers were dispatched to the scene. Examination of CCTV footage allowed for a description of the suspects: three large men in black hooded clothing, with their faces concealed.
